Wood Veneer Interior Doors

Superior Quality and Craftmanship - Made in the USA

Our interior wood veneer doors are constructed using industrial-grade particle board to form a solid core for the door. Real wood veneers and solid wood edges are overlaid onto the particle board substrates to create beautiful wood doors that can be offered in many types of wood species and door panel designs. This method of construction is extremely stable and yields long-lasting doors that resist warp, yet it still offers the same look and feel of a true solid wood door. Often times (mostly when dealing with expensive wood species varieties) veneered doors cost less than a solid wood door.

If you are building a new home or renovating, and would like a high quality product in your home that will last a lifetime, consider buying wood veneered doors from Homestead Doors. Lag Bolt Door Construction
Lag Bolt Door Assembly
Lag bolt construction is a signature feature of our wood veneered doors. Bored through the edges of the doors to secure the stiles to the rails, these long metal bolts are far stronger than wood dowels and guard against joint separation caused by changes in temperature and humidity in the door's surroundings.

Hand Sanding of Door Face
Hand Sanding
Every veneer door undergoes a unique 3 stage sanding process, the last stage of which involves a thorough inspection and sanding by hand to eliminate cross grain scratches that automated sanding machines make. By removing these blemishes, we give you a clean door that is virtually ready to stain and finish with minimal follow-up sanding.  In addition, doors are examined under ultra-violet light so that glue residue can be spotted and removed before shipment.
